Today was so unexpected. Who knew "Going for a test drive" immediately means "purchasing a brand new ride"? Haha. Bye-bye Nissan Quest, Hello Mazda CX-9! Zoom zoom!
Check out the Mazda Cx-9!
Coming from Mazda, Ian and I went to Umi Sushi to have dinner. It's was oh so yummy! Thanks babe! :o) Oh, and we finally got to buy a new ring! Will have the pictures for that tomorrow (hopefully!) So come back and check it out :o)

I have another photo for Day 26! This is the board our group came up with for a part of "health week". UTMAC gave out free breakfast and lunch today and we kind of accompanied it with this board with lots of info about food and nutrition, as well as activity. Volunteered for 2 hours at this station.

Wow, this picture-taking-updating-each-day kinda thing is not working too well for me, as you can tell. Don't worry folks, I haven't given up, if that's what you're thinking. In fact, I refuse to give up. I love this concept and I'm going to try my very best to keep it up for a whole year, whatever it takes. So, keep visiting; photos are gonna keep comin'! :o)

Been playing my DS quite often lately. So here, I think it deserves a spot on my 365 list :P

My very own pretend fisheye. Who thinks this is cool? Say yes if you want to be part of my list too! Haha :P

This past Saturday, my family and I attended our friend's 50th birthday celebration. All I can say is, yumyumyum...!

Last Friday, Joyce and Darryl came over to give me her Christmas present, so we exchanged gifts. Better late than never! Love them! I already wore the necklace btw - the star one! :o)

First of all, I want to greet Ian a happy 35th month! :o)
The candy in the picture is given to me by Ian because he knew that I was craving for some sour candies :P So thoughtful :) Thanks, babe! ILY. Guess we'll have to wait for 2 more weeks to eat some expensive food, hmm? :o)

Move your butt campaign. The PHV team was part of this campaign today. I was there for about 3 hours. This day was mostly about enforcing the "9-meter law" which states that smokers who would like to smoke outside the building can do so with respect to the 9-meter law. Pretty successful day, if I may say so myself.

Barrack Obama's inauguration. I watched it, even though I'm not that into politics. A lot of people are really into Obama and stuff, and a lot of people are getting pretty sick with the overrated, much publicized presidential news. Well, let's look out for this new change. God Bless America! (I'm not American btw. I'm from Toronto :o)

These are the books I ordered from Amazon.ca. I thought they lost my order or something 'coz it was taking so long for it to get delivered (it said 2-3 days)...when all this time it was just in the mailbox. Haha...I was waiting for the postman to knock on my door, but the package wasn't that big that's why they just left it in the mailbox. Now I can actually start reading for my course(s).

Yipeee! Ian & I are going out for a fancy dinner on the 7th of February. He just called to book for a reservation when he came over today. We wanted Jan. 31st (because Winterlicious runs from Jan. 31st - Feb. 12th) but they were already booked. Can't wait for Feb. 7th. Uh-oh I'm gonna need to go shopping for a fancy dress!

Ian came over today just to hang out. Love hanging out at my place :) That's our picture from the prom afterparty (yes, so old school!) and the background is his car (and snow!)

I seem to be having to do the uploading in two's. I swear, I'm not doing it on purpose. I guess whatever works. At least I'm still on top of things :) Enjoy!

Yes, an extreme cold weather alert has been announced. Check out the numbers...bone chilling! Literally! & By the way, the number before the first one, for example on Friday morning, -14 degrees Celcius is the temperature, and -26 degrees Celcius is the wind chill factor. Yikes!

Ok, this is kind of random, but I was in the washroom today just before going into my meeting when I saw this label on the tissue holder-thingamajig. You may not see the words clearly but below the "Toilet tissue only" sign, someone wrote in "no poop?". Haha, I just found it funny, so why not take a picture? Randomness :)

I got these cute "pin heads" (is what I call them) from my first training as a PHV (peer health volunteer). It's a random photo, but I love these cute pins! If you're wondering what they're attached to - it's my pencil case :)

Well, it's not just day 13 that's snowy and wintery...it's every day!!! Me no likey!

Toronto @ Boston. The Raptors
almost beat the Celtics until they had to go on overtime. Andrea Bargnani got the 3-point saver with 1.0 seconds left! a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Too bad, the OT was a chance for them to win, but I guess the 2008 champs prevail!

This photo illustrates my beloved boyfriend being sick. Yes, sick. Poor baby, still sick right now. Well, babe, if you're reading this, I hope you feel better! xoxo

Toronto Peer Health Network Conference. What a long day! From 8am-4pm I attended the conference. Met up with Ian afterwards, spent some time together, had dinner, got home 5 hours later. Super tiring day it was. & it was freeeeezing! Check out a couple of photos of Ian & I waiting at the subway in my

I really hope Ian doesn't check my photo for today. I went to the mall today after my class to meet up with my family. Went shopping around, and finally got to Old Navy. There were quite a lot of sale and I ended up buying two items (on the photo). The pink cotton wool long sleeves is mine & I got it for $10 (used to be $30) and the one on the right is for Ian (price is secret) :P I'm not supposed to be spending, but they were really good buys, so I don't feel guilty. :)

Time-out. It's only been the first week and here I am already having trouble getting up in the morning. What's wrong with me??? Someone needs to slap me in the back of the head. Seriously. I need to step up my game...and soon! No more time-outs.

This is my baby Maxxi' after coming from the groomer's. The groomer shaved too much! But she's still the cutest. :) During this time, I was getting mad at her because she was being a bad girl, jumping up and down the couch. So that's what she did: crawled into the corner of the couch. What a cutie!

So today was the first day of my 2nd term. In terms of course material, so far so good. BUT my Monday schedule is really ugly. I have 2 classes with a 3-hr break in between! The book in the photo is one of the books required for one of my courses. That book for $33.75! And it's used too! Wow, they're really killing us students with the books!

Well, well, well. Tomorrow, I'm back to school. A bit anxious but more excited. Can't wait to flip the coin and start this new term. I'm ready for it! Ready to organize my stuff and start this term head on! :o) I guess my most handy tool for school is the planner/calendar. Cannot live without them when I'm at school. What about you?

Today, I finally bought a planner! It's red and sexy and bold! I love it! I've been looking everywhere to find the perfect one and here it is! I initially wanted a limited edition red Moleskine planner but I ended up with this, a Letts of London Planner from Chapters, and I even got in on sale; 50% off! Love this day, love my new planner!

This entry is for January 1st and 2nd 2009.

Day 1 {a} : D&I still holding on, still going strong.

Day 1 {b}: Happy New Year! Bring it on 2009!

Day 2 : Shooting around @ Gia's place...while it was snowing!
Look out for the next 363 (or more) photos coming this year! :)
Day 3 will hopefully be up by tomorrow. I'm still unsure whether I'm going to be posting up photos every single day or gather them up and leave it until the end of every week to post them. If you have any suggestions as to which option I should go with, please comment. Comments are loved! :) See you back here at d-threesixtyfive!
